“Darling, when things go wrong in life, this is what you do; you lift your chin, put on ravishing smile, mix yourself a little cocktail-and out you go”
I love that quote! What an awesome ghost character on this book! Aha, I am not telling you that I changed my genre. It’s still kind of chick-lit thing, one of Sophie Kinsella stand-alone novels (would never ever forgive “Confession of a Shopaholic”, aren’t you?).
And copied another quote from her, “There’s no place like home”.
Okay, this book is telling about a girl, to whom life is seems so absurd for her. By without any warning, she suddenly haunted by her a hundred-and-five-year-old great-aunt.
I won’t tell you the detail. You shall read it at your own! 😉
Nevertheless, I would like to share my learning from this story. How we shall appreciate our life. And life wouldn’t be ‘that’ bad… We don’t judge our life, we create it.
And as usual, I love kinsella’s novel… Beside the woman strong-character that always put dominant on her story, I love the way makes character for every prince there. The Mr. Right, that is not always come to the right time…
