Yellow Rice Cooked in Rice Cooker

In this fasting month, many food seller close their business for awhile. I was thinking to make this yellow rice by my own since Christophers loves this.
And u know…traditional foods always captivating in their exotic taste 🙂 and in my case; Indonesian food.
Indonesian food varied in huge numbers since we have many islands, tribes and many things
And as usual, recipes written here are always easy to made.

All u need is a rice cooker.
And the ingredients are:
A lil slice of turmeric (Indonesia: kunyit)
1/2 tsp of salt
Bay leaves (I used Indonesian bay leaves called Salam leaves)
1 lemon grass (Indonesian: serai/sereh)
Coconut milk from 1/4 coconut
Blend the garlic, union, turmeric, salt and coconut milk.
Wash the rice
Pour the coconut milk batter into the rice.
Add some bay leaves and lemon grass.
Cook in rice cooker.
(Of course u could cook this in old traditional way for better taste)
This yellow rice served with many Indonesian dishes. One of the dish is sweet and hot crispy potato that I just posted.
You could add any dishes as desired.
